And a substantial part of the city is agricultural, where the parcel is the product and the house is one feature on it.

Averaging those into one package is how a listing on farmland ends up with twenty interior photographs and no sense of the land, or a mountain view home ends up with a competent interior set that never shows the view. We scope Abbotsford shoots by what the property actually is.

Airspace, checked before the day

Abbotsford International Airport sits inside the city, and its controlled airspace covers a meaningful part of the residential area around it. Drone flight there is restricted, and the restriction is a property-by-property question rather than a city-wide one.

We check the airspace for the specific address when the booking is made, not on the morning of the shoot. That matters because the alternative is discovering it on site, and then either flying where we should not or delivering a package missing the aerials it was sold with. Neither is acceptable, and the check costs nothing when it is done early.
